Just so future me doesn't think it took me this long to read the next book...
Since I had thought I would have a new volume of danmei to read on the 18th, I decided to put off starting to read a new book, and decided to spend a few days phone-proofing one of my own works instead. (I always spot more/different errors when proofreading on my phone than on my computer.)
The danmei got delayed until the end of next month 😭😭😭😭 and the proofreading ended up being a couple of different works, so....only actually starting the next book today.
